    Dear Fuerte Families,
Our common core math curriculum is called: Go Math! It's an extensive program with many features to support our students as they strive to meet the rigorous common core standards. Your student will logon to Go Math by going to: www.thinkcentral.com and entering their school username and password. I encourage you to explore the program by clicking on the 'My Library' section of your student's dashboard.
Click here to see the components: Go Math Online Components Explained

***   PACING IS ONE LESSON A DAY. Please try to schedule all appointments after 2:00 if at all possible. Due to the Rotation Schedule, there is no time to catch up work when a student has been absent.

********   ABSENT? Check below at the WHERE WE ARE or the Class Calendar, to see the lesson you missed. Then go to Thinkcentral--My Library--Interactive Student Edition-- and type in the chapter and lesson you need. Watch the lesson and try out some of the practice problems. This will keep you from getting too far behind.

HOMEWORK -  I will post the homework on the class calendar each day by 2:45. IF the homework is available online and not something passed out in class and you DON'T have it:   Go to thinkcentral.com    My Library    Student Practice Book   OR   Student Edition (Textbook)  Print out the page you need.

TIMES TABLE: PLEASE make sure your student knows their times tables to mastery. It impacts 10 of the 13 chapters we do this year.

QUICK HELP!!! Go to thinkcentral: My Library. Click on the RETEACH book. It will tell you how to do everything STEP-BY-STEP and/or click on the INTERACTIVE STUDENT EDITION and go to the lesson we're on, and watch the video--the fox will "teach" you what to do.

JOURNALS:  If your student has questions about the homework, remind them to look in their Math Journal. These stay in their binders and we take notes in them almost daily--that way we have them to refer to for help with homework and tests.
