My name is Angelica Ugarte and I am you full time  school counselors here at Bostonia Language Academy.   I am very excited to be here to get to know all the new students and parents and to continue building rapport with the existing students.  My role here is to ensure that all students have the tools they need to continue their journey of academic and socio-emotional development and success. I will do this by facilitating small groups and guidance lessons in classrooms, we will participate in school wide events and meet with students individually.  

I received my Bachelors in Social Work from SDSU in 2013.  I then started working at the ÒõAPPµ¼º½ Valley School District later that year as a clerical substitute.  While working at Bostonia as an office assistant I went back to school to earn my Master's degree in School counseling and my PPS credentials which I received in 2018.  I am extremely excited to be back and I look forward to supporting our students, parents and staff this school year.

Yo soy Angelica Ugarte y soy la consejeras escolares aquí en la Academia de Lenguajes. Estoy muy emocionado de estar aquí para conocer a todos los nuevos estudiantes y padres y para continuar la construcción de relaciones con los estudiantes existentes. Mi función aquí es garantizar que todos los estudiantes tengan las herramientas que necesitan para continuar su camino de éxito y desarrollo académico y socioemocional. Haré esto facilitando grupos pequeños y lecciones de orientación en los salones, participaremos en eventos de toda la escuela y nos reuniremos con los estudiantes individualmente.Recibí mi Licenciatura en Trabajo Social de SDSU en 2013. Luego comencé a trabajar en el Distrito Escolar de El ÒõAPPµ¼º½  como sustituta administrativa. Mientras trabajaba en Bostonia como asistente de oficina, volví a la escuela para obtener mi maestría en asesoramiento escolar y mis credenciales de PPS que recibí en 2018. Estoy muy emocionada de estar de regreso y espero poder apoyar a nuestros estudiantes, padres y personal este año escolar.
