Lexington Elementary PARENT-SCHOOL COMPACT 

Lexington Elementary provides a high-quality curriculum and instruction for teaching staff. We believe in high standards for students and staff. We feel that a commitment by everyone involved will ensure the best possible climate to create an excellent education for our children. This agreement is a promise that students, school staff, and parents will work together toward student success. 

As a STUDENT, I will be responsible for: 

• Showing others that I can be kind, safe, and productive 
• Show school appropriate language and actions 
• Staying on task and participating 
• Trying my best, even when it’s hard 
• Showing responsible Peace Builder behavior for following school rules 
• Attending school regularly and on time 
• Coming to school with all necessary materials (for example: backpack, folder or notebook, homework, fully charged chromebook) 
• Completing all class and homework assignments to the best of my ability 
• Stay on task and understanding your teacher values effort and participation ● Sharing my classroom work with my parents 
• Reading daily at home 
• Asking my teacher, parents, siblings, and peers for help, when needed 

As a TEACHER, I will be responsible for: 

• Showing courtesy and respect to others 
• Teaching grade level skills, standards and concepts using effective teaching strategies 
• Addressing the individual needs of all students in my class through differentiated instruction and providing extra assistance 
• Communicating frequently with parents regarding student progress 
• Requesting a parent meeting when needed, even if it’s outside of the conference time frame ● Providing a safe, positive, and healthy learning environment for the students ● Correcting and returning student work in a timely manner 
• Communicating expectations for homework, class work, and behavior to students and parents ● Providing feedback on homework that is timely and specific 
• Encouraging students to do their best and ask for help when needed 
• Offer volunteer opportunities with students and without 

As a PARENT/GUARDIAN, I will be responsible for: 

• Showing courtesy and respect to others
• Making education important in my home 
• Being an example to children in our parking lot 
• Sending and picking up my child to school regularly and on time 
• Reading to my child or listening to my child read daily 
• Providing necessary materials to support my child’s learning 
• Teaching my child organizational strategies such as: bringing all materials to school, fully charging their Chromebook in preparation for school, removing old papers from folders/ backpacks, etc... 
• Encouraging good study habits (working in a quiet place, etc…) 
• Monitoring, reviewing, and (when necessary) following up on homework as well as progress reports ● Attending all parent/teacher conferences 
• Attending parent events and workshops 
• Supporting and reinforcing school and classroom rules 
• Contacting my child’s teacher (outside of school hours) if there is a concern 
• Praising effort 
• Making sure my child gets a good nights sleep 
• For community/teacher support, contact the school community liaison during school hours 

As a PRINCIPAL, I will be responsible for: 

• Creating a welcoming environment for students and parents 
• Communicating to students and parents about the school’s mission and goals ● Communicating through social media 
• Ensuring a safe and orderly learning environment 
• Reinforcing the partnership between parents, students, and staff 
• Acting as the instructional leader by supporting teachers in their classrooms 
• Providing appropriate professional growth opportunities for teachers

La escuela Lexington tiene altas expectativas para sus estudiantes y personal. Creemos que trabajar en conjunto asegura un mayor éxito y mejor educación para nuestros estudiantes. Este pacto es un compromiso entre estudiantes, personal de escuela y padres para bienestar de cada alumno. 

Como ESTUDIANTE, yo soy responsable por: 

• Mostrar bondad, seguridad y productividad en todo momento 
• Utilizar lenguage y acciones que sean apropiadas para la escuela 
• Mantenerme al corriente en mis trabajos y participar en mi salón 
• Hacer mi mayor esfuerzo, aun cuando el reto es difícil 
• Ser un creador de la paz y seguir los reglamentos de la escuela y mi salón 
• Asistir a la escuela todos los días y llegar a tiempo 
• Asistir a la escuela preparado con todos mis útiles escolares y necesarios (por ejemplo: mochila, carpeta o cuaderno, tarea, la computadora cargada completamente) 
• Hacer todas mis tareas en clase y en casa lo mejor que pueda

• Asistir a las necesidades de todos los estudiantes en mi salón a través de instrucción diferenciada y proveyendo asistencia adicional 
• Mantener comunicación constantemente con los padres acerca de la educación de sus hijos ● Solicitar una conferencia con los padres, en caso de ser necesario 
• Proveer un ambiente seguro, sano y positivo para los estudiantes 
• Corregir y devolver los trabajos de los estudiantes lo más pronto posible

• Proveer los materiales necesarios para apoyar el aparendizaje de mi hijo(a) 
• Enseñar a mi hijo(a) estrategias de organización para que siempre asista a la escuela preparada(o) ● Promover buenos hábitos de estudio 
• Revisar las tareas y los reportes de progreso 
• Asistir a todas las conferencias de padres/maestros 
• Asistir a eventos y talleres para padres ofrecidos por la escuela 
• Apoyar y enforzar las reglas de la escuela y maestros 
• Contactar a la maestro(o) de mi hijo(a) fuera de las horas de clases cuando sea necesario. Se recomienda hacerlo antes de las 8 a.m. o después de las 2 p.m.

• Asegurarme que mi hijo(a) duerma y descanse lo suficiente cada noche 
• Para recibir apoyo del maestro/comunidad, contactar al oficial de enlaces comunitarios durante las horas de oficina

أتفاقية الوالدين ومدرسة ليكزنتن االبتدائية 

تؤمن مدرسة ليكزنتن االبتدائية بمعايير عالية لطالبها وموظفيها. ونحن نرى أن التزام جميع المعنيين سيضمن أفضل مناخ ممكن لخلق تعليم ممتاز ألطفالنا. وهذا االتفاق هو وعد من الطالب، موظفي المدرسة، اآلباء واألمهات بانهم سيعملون سويا لتحقيق النجاح للطالب. 

كطالب، عن ما يلي:سوف اكون مسؤوالً&�Բ�����;

• أن اظهر لالخرين بانني طيب، وامين ومنتح 
• اظهر للمدرسة حسن التعامل وحسن الكالم 
• ان استمر بالمهمات والمشاركة بها 
• محاولة قصارى جهدي، مهما كانت الصعاب 
• اظهار مسؤوليات سلوك باني السالم التباع قواعد المدرسة 
• الحضور الى المدرسة بانتظام وفي الوقت المحدد 
• الذهاب إلى المدرسة مع جميع المواد الالزمة )على سبيل المثال: حقيبة الظهر، الكتب أو الدفاتر، والواجبات المنزلية، والكروم بوك المشحون بالكامل( 
• إكمال جميع الواجبات المدرسية والواجبات المنزلية بأفضل امكانياتي. 
• البقاء في الموضوع وفهم قيم جهود المعلم مع المشاركة 
• اشراك وال ّ دي في اعمالي المدرسية 
• القراءة يوميا في المنزل 
• اسأل مساعدة المعلم، والوالدين، واالخوان، واالقران كلما احتجت. 

كمعلم، سوف اكون مسؤوال عن ما يلي: 

• مجاملة واحترام اآلخرين 
• تدريس كافة مهارات المرحلة ومعاييرها وجميع المفاهيم باستخدام استراتيجيات التدريس الفعالة 
• تلبية االحتياجات الفردية لجميع الطالب في حصتي من خالل تعاليم متباينة وتقديم مساعدة إضافية. 
• التواصل مع اآلباء واألمهات بشكل متكرر بشأن تقدم الطالب 
• طلب اجتماع أحد الوالدين عند الحاجة، حتى لو كان خارج اإلطار الزمني للمؤتمرات 
• توفير بيئة تعليمية آمنة وإيجابية وصحية للطالب 
• تصحيح وإعادة عمل الطالب في الوقت المناسب 
• التواصل مع الطالب واولياء االمور في الواجبات المنزلية، والمدرسية، والسلوك 
• القيام بمراجعة الواجبات المنزلية في الوقت المناسب والمحدد 
• تشجيع الطالب على بذل قصارى جهدهم وطلب المساعدة عند الحاجة 
• توفير فرص التطوع مع الطالب وبدونهم.

كولي االمر/الوصي، سوف اكون مسؤوال عن: 

• مجاملة واحترام االخرين 
• جعل التعليم واجبا مهما في بيتي 
• أن اكون مثاال لألطفال في موقف سيارات المدرسة 
• إرسال طفلي إلى المدرسة بانتظام وفي الوقت المحدد 
• القراءة لطفلي أو االستماع له وهو يقرأ بصورة يومية 
• توفير المواد الالزمة لدعم تعليم طفلي 
• تعليم طفلي استراتيجية تنظيم العمل مثل: جلب جميع المواد إلى المدرسة، شحن جهاز كروم بوك بالكامل استعدادا للمدرسة، وإزالة األوراق القديمة من الفايل او حقيبة الظهر، الخ ... 
• تشجيع عادات الدراسة الجيدة )العمل في مكان هادئ، الخ ...( 
• متابعة، ومراجعة )عند الضرورة( الواجبات المنزلية والتقارير المرحلية 
• حضور جميع مؤتمرات اآلباء / المعلمين 
• حضور االحداث وورش العمل الخاصة بالوالدين 
• دعم وفرض قواعد المدرسة والفصول الدراسية 
• االتصال بمعلم طفلي )خارج ساعات الدوام المدرسي( إذا كان هناك شئ هام 
• جهود االشادة والثناء 
• التأكد من حصول طفلي على نوم كافي وصحي 

. للحصول على دعم من المجتمع/ او المعلمين االتصال بلمتواصلة االجتماعية خالل ساعات الدوام المدرسي كمدير، سوف اكون مسؤوال عن: 

• خلق بيئة ترحيبية للطلبة وأولياء اأالمور 
• التواصل مع الطالب وأولياء األمور حول مهمة المدرسة وأهدافها 
• التواصل من خالل وسائل التواصل ااالجتماعي 
• ضمان بيئة تعليمية آمنة ومنظمة 
• تعزيز الشراكة بين الوالدين والطالب والموظفين. 

. العمل كقائد تعليمي من خالل دعم المعلمين في الفصول الدراسية. 

• توفير فرص النمو المهني المناسبة للمعلمين. 

. تشجيع مشاركة الوالدين وتعليمهم.
