Welcome to the HMS Retrospection website!
Students who work on the Hillsdale yearbook will experience what it's like to run a business. Student responsibilities include desktop publishing, budgeting, ad and book sales, interviews, writing copy and photography. Meeting deadlines is imperative, so responsibility is key! Together we will create a history book of the 2023-2024 school year documenting the important events, the lessons learned, and the memories made throughout the year. This is a big job, but a rewarding one!
There is a tradition of excellence here at Hillsdale, and the yearbook is no exception. Our book is consistently recognized in local and national competitions. The 2019 and 2023 books were voted Best in San Diego County as they took Best in Show at the San Diego County Fair, and the 2021 edition was featured in a national publishing example book and was awarded the Walsworth Publishing Award of Excellence. This year's book will continue to demonstrate the excellence of Hillsdale Huskies as we work together to elegantly chronicle the highlights of this historic school year!

HMS RETROSPECTION staffers are asked to sell 2 business ads to help support our program. Business ads will be featured in the 2024 edition of HMS Retrospection. The form is available for download in the related files section below.
Each staffer can earn $5 off his or her yearbook for each ad sold. The top seller in the class will win a prize and a free yearbook!
