    ÒõAPPµ¼º½ Valley uses PeachJar for flyer distribution. 

     

    Flyers to be distributed to ÒõAPPµ¼º½ Valley schools must be submitted through PeachJar. Any organization can apply directly through Peachjar at . Once registered, you can upload your flyer and select your desired school(s). If your organization is non-profit, they waive the fee. You will need to provide a copy of your tax-exempt status (letter from IRS with 501(c) (3) status) twice. Once to Peachjar and a second time to the district  to be added to the district’s pre-approved non-profit organization list. You can send your documentation of your tax-exempt status (letter from IRS with 501(c) (3) status) to luquek@cajonvalley.net

     

    Upon approval, your flyer is emailed to all parents/staff who have their email address on file with the district. Make sure your flyer is compliant with our Board Policy ÒõAPPµ¼º½. 

     

    Guidelines

    All flyers to be distributed must:

    1. Support the basic educational mission of the district, directly benefit the students, or be of intrinsic value to the students or their parents/guardians, promote an educational experience for students or parents, a healthy use of leisure time and/or a special enrichment activity not duplicated by a CVUSD program.

    2. Be in PDF format and contain font sizes not less than size 12.

    3. Contain the name and contact information of the sponsoring entity.

    4. Include the following disclaimer using exact wording not less than size 12 font:

    "DISCLAIMER:  This activity is not a school-sponsored activity and is not endorsed by the school or ÒõAPPµ¼º½ Valley School District. The activities, products, or services advertised in this flyer are not endorsed by the school or the District.”

     

    Flyers will NOT be approved that:

    • Are lewd, obscene, libelous, or slanderous.

    • Incite students to commit unlawful acts, violate school rules, or disrupt the orderly operation of the schools.

    • Promote any particular political interest, candidate, party, or ballot measure, unless the candidates or advocates from all sides are provided the opportunity to present their views to the students during school hours or during events scheduled pursuant to the Civic Center Act.

    • Proselytize or position the district on any side of a controversial issue.

    • Discriminate against, attack or denigrate any group on account of gender, race, age, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, disability or other unlawful consideration.

    • Promote the use or sale of materials or services that are illegal or inconsistent with school objectives, including, but not limited to, materials or advertisements for tobacco, intoxicants, and movies or products unsuitable for children.

    • Solicit funds or services for an organization, with the exception of solicitations authorized in Board policy.
